How long does the MYMC Weight Loss Program go for?

Everyone’s weight loss journey is different. The optimal length of time you spend on the MYMC Weight Loss Program will depend on your own goals. We recommend remaining on the program for at least 4-8 weeks for you to see and feel results, however, you may wish to remain on it longer to continue to see results and meet your weight loss goals. The Weight Loss Program is run through a weekly weight loss meal plan subscription, which you can manage through the My Muscle Chef mobile app.

Do I need to download the app to participate in the Weight Loss Program?

Yes, you will need to download the MYMC mobile app to access the MYMC Weight Loss Program. You will get access to choose your weekly meals, workouts, daily wellness check and to track your goals every day in our weight loss tracker app.

Am I locked into a contract?

Once you register, the program will run by a weekly weight loss meal plan subscription that can be managed through the MYMC weight loss App. You can cancel at any time, however we recommend remaining on the program for at least 4-8 weeks for you to see and feel results.

Can I select my delivery day or time?

Depending on your location, deliveries are scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays for the MYMC Weight Loss Program. We don't currently offer alternate dates and times

Are the meals suitable for people with dietary requirements or allergies?

Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies. Our team is continuously working to improve our meal selection so please check back regularly for updates.

What support will I have to help me lose weight?

The MYMC weight loss app is the best way to track your daily goals during the program. If you feel like you need a little extra support or have a burning question about your meals or results you can speak to one of our friendly in-house Nutritionists.

Is the program suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mums?

We recommend that if you are pregnant to consult with your doctor first before registering on the program to ensure that it is safe for you and your growing baby. For mums who are breastfeeding we encourage you to select Very Active meal options to ensure that you are nourishing your body.

How do I check my weight loss progress and how frequently should I be checking in?

We recommend checking your weight and body measurements on a weekly basis and logging these in your MYMC App. This will allow you to review your progress throughout your weight loss program journey. If you wish to check in with one of our in-house dietitians, get in touch on 1300 364 993 so we can organise a direct call with them.

What is the exercise recommended to achieve my weight loss goal?

To help achieve your weight loss goals we recommend completing a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate to intense physical activity each day. Depending on your fitness levels this may range from brisk walking to a workout in the gym.
